Hot Swap Drive Cage
The Intel
®
Workstation System SC5650SCWS is upgradeable to either of below two hot swap driver cages
with a SAS/SATA backplane, which support up to six hot swap SAS or SATA hot swap hard drives.

Drive Cage Product Code Description
AXX6DRV3GR Non-Expander SAS/ SATA Backplane kit.
Support either 3.5-inch SAS or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives.
SAS controller add-in card or SAS module card is required for SAS hard drive
support
AXX6DRV3GEXP Expander SAS Backplane kit.
Support either 3.5-inch SAS or 3.5-inch SATA hard drives.
SAS controller add-in card or SAS module card is required for both SAS and
SATA hard drive support

You may purchase AXX25DRVADPTR to install 2.5-inch hard drives into the 3.5-inch hot swap drive cage.
