The Intel

Server Board S5500WB12VR with serial numbers starting with AZWK127, AZWK128, AZWK129, AZWK131

or AZWK134 e.g. SN: AZWK127xxxxx are affected by this issue.

The Intel

Server System SR1695WBAC with serial numbers starting with AZGA131, AZGA132 or AZGA133 e.g. SN:

AZGA131xxxxx are affected by this issue.

Description

The Intel factory found that the Intel

Server System SR1695WB and Intel

Server Board S5500WB12VR with above

mentioned serial numbers were shipped with FRUSDR Revision 09. They should have been shipped with Revision 16.

The default FRUSDR shipped from the Intel factory is not chassis specific and must be reloaded when a user integrates the

system to correctly configure the processors and fan settings.

Root Cause

The incorrect FRUSDR file was loaded when doing FRUSDR programming in manufacturing.

The Intel factory has made corrections to the test program and added a process to check the FRUSDR version before shipping the board/system from the Intel factory to make sure the correct FRUSDR is loaded. Intel has started to build ® the Intel Server Board S5500WB with FRUSDR Rev 16 from October 19, 2011. Intel recommends that customers go to http://downloadcenter.intel.
