7. Standard Control Panel Functionality

The Intel

Server System SR1560SF can support either of two standard control panels; one

each for the fixed drive and hot-swap backplane configurations. The control panel assemblies

are pre-assembled and modular in design. The entire module assembly slides into a predefined

slot in the front of the chassis.

For fixed drive configurations, the standard control panel supports several push buttons and

status LEDs, along with a single USB 2.0 port to centralize system control, monitoring, and

accessibility to within a common compact design. The following diagram overviews the layout

and functions of the control panel.
