4.2.3 Restore (/r)
syscfg /r [filename.SCF] {/f | /b | /f /b}
Filename
Filename of the syscfg configuration file
(.SCF) in the current working directory. If
no filename is specified, the default filename
syscfg.scf is used. The filename suffix must
be .SCF.
/f
Restore the firmware settings. (See
Appendix A for a list of the settings that are
restored.)
/b
Restore the BIOS settings. (See Appendix A
for a list of the settings that are restored.)
Restores the BIOS and firmware settings from a SCF file.
Examples:
syscfg /r /f /b
syscfg /r saved.scf /f
syscfg /r myscfg.scf /b /bap kwqt821
Notes:
One or both of the /r and /f options are required.
If the BIOS Administrator password is set, you must use the /bap command to enter
the password.
The static IP Address assigned by a DHCP server, the BIOS boot order, and other
dynamic BIOS settings are not saved or restored.
