13. Type “mount /dev/sdb /temp”.
14. Type “ls /temp”
All the driver files are now in /temp.
15. Type “cd temp" to go to /temp directory.
16. Type “./replace_ahci.sh” to execute the file.
This removes ahci from /etc/modprobe.conf and blacklists ahci in
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.
17. Go back to the graphic screen and reboot the system in order to finish the
installation.

6.5 Recommend to install following RAID Controllers in PCI Slot other than
Slot 4
Issue: Intel
®
RAID Controllers SRCSASJV, SRCSASRB, SRCSATAWB, SRCSASBB8I
and SRCSASLS4I may fail to activate RAID BIOS Console by Ctrl+G after they
are installed into PCI Slot 4 on the Intel
®
Server Boards S5000PSL, S5000XSL,
S5000VSA, or Intel
®
Workstation Board S5000XVN.
Guideline: Install the RAID controller in a different PCI Express Slot.
Status: This issue was resolved with BIOS R0094.
