Corrective Action / Resolution

The new Li-Ion revision of the battery (MM# 900954, TA# E44609-001, part number: E44610-250) resolves the

compatibility issue.

When ordering the AXXRSBBU3 battery for use with the affected integrated RAID boards, specify that the new MM#

900954 is required. Do not order AXXRSBBU3 with MM# 899345 for use with the affected integrated RAID boards.

MM# is a code used by distributors for placing orders with Intel and is printed on the product box.

If you have received the affected Li-Ion battery and you need to use it with one of the affected integrated RAID boards,

please contact Intel using your normal warranty process. Please indicate that you are calling regarding TA# 0914, and

have the following information when you call:

- the part number requested: E44610-250 (the updated Li-Ion revision)

- the part number being replaced: E44610-150 (the affected Li-Ion revision)

Distributors wishing to return their product inventory may do so under a technical RMA and reference TA# 0914.
