12. Power Supply Specification Guidelines
This section provides power supply design guidelines for a system using the Intel
®
Server
Boards S2400EP including voltage and current specifications, and power supply on/off
sequencing characteristics. The following diagram shows the power distribution implemented
on these server boards.

12.1 Processor Power Support
The server boards support the Thermal Design Power (TDP) guideline for Intel

Xeon
®
processors. The Flexible Motherboard Guidelines (FMB) were also followed to determine the
suggested thermal and current design values for anticipating future processor needs. The
