 Redundant system fan configuration consists of five managed dual rotor 40mm x 56mm
system fans, providing the primary airflow for the system configured with redundant power
supply modules. Should a single fan fail, platform management will adjust air flow of the
remaining fans and manage other platform features to maintain system thermals. Fan
redundancy is lost if more than one fan is in a failed state.

Each system fan is mounted inside its own plastic fan housing which include rotational vibration
dampening features. The fan assemblies are held in place by fitting them over mounting pins
coming up from the chassis base.
