Server Board S1200V3RPS and S1200V3RPL may not

recognize PCIe devices in slot 4 during POST

Description

Intel has discovered that the server products listed above may not recognize devices in slot 4 during POST, and the

“missing” PCIe devices may be recognized after the next power cycle. This issue is found to occur only in PCIe slot 4

and the issue has not been replicated in any other PCIe slot.

Root Cause

It is a compatibility issue between the board and certain PCIe devices.

Corrective Action / Resolution

The issue is fixed with BIOS R01.03.0005.
