Installing and Removing the Rack Handles
Installing the Rack Handles
1. Observe the safety and ESD precautions at the beginning of this book. See “Safety
Information” on page iii.
2. Power down the server and unplug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable.
3. If it is installed, remove the front bezel if it is installed.
4. Attach the rack handle to the server system with two screws as shown in Figure 40.

5. Repeat Step 4 on the opposite side of the server.
6. (Optional) Install the front bezel, if desired.
7. Plug all peripheral devices and the AC power cable into the server.
