Description
The AXXRPFKSSD RAID feature enablement key with MM#907049 currently supports the SSD Cache 1.0 read cache
feature. Intel is upgrading the AXXRPFKSSD in order to support the new writeback feature of SSD Cache 2.0. The new
MM# for this updated product will be MM# 918399. This advance feature requires that the latest version of the RAID
controller’s firmware and that the AXXRPFKSSD be installed on the RAID controller.

Root Cause
This is a hardware change on Intel
®
RAID SSD Cache with Fast Path* I/O premium feature key AXXRPFKSSD,
therefore the AXXRPFKSSD with MM#907049 cannot be used to enable the SSD Cache 2.0 writeback feature.
Corrective Action / Resolution
Please contact Intel using your normal warranty support process to replace AXXRPFKSSD MM#907049 (Intel Part
Number E88110-001) with AXXRPFKSSD MM#918399 (Intel Part Number E88110-002).
Provide warranty support with the following information:
1. Serial number of the AXXRPFKSSD.
2. This Technical Advisory number.
3. That you are requesting replacement AXXRPFKSSD with the key with MM#918399 (Intel Part Number E88110-002).
