The Intel 12Gb/s SAS Controller supports all major operating systems: Windows*, Linux
Red Hat*, Linux SUSE* Enterprise Server (SLES), Solaris*, and VMware*. Refer to

support. For Solaris support, contact the Intel Technical Support team.
Note: The Intel 12Gb/s SAS Controller supports the Solaris 10 operating system, and Oracle
provides a built-in driver; installation of an Intel driver is not required. For more
information on the Oracle Solaris 10 driver and installation, sign in at the following
Oracle link.
