2.6 Installation of Intel

So that each node in the cluster that will be created can access the shared JBOD storage, the
Intel
®
ir3 2208 HA RAID drivers must be installed into each node of the cluster. If this driver has
been loaded during Linux OS installation, the following steps 1 to 4 can be ignored.
1. Check whether other version ir3 2208 RAID driver has been installed on each node of
cluster by running the following command:
lsmod |grep mega
If “megaraid_sas” is listed, other version ir3 2208 RAID driver has been installed.
2. Run the following command to remove the other version ir3 2208 RAID driver if it has
been installed on Linux:
rmmod megaraid_sas
3. Run the following command to copy the ir3 2208 HA driver RPM package to any folder
of Linux OS:
rpm –ivh [ir3 2208 HA driver rpm package]
4. Run the following command to insert new version driver module:
modprobe megaraid_sas
