Battery Life and Data Retention Time
The Intel utilities display a counter showing the number of times a BBU has been
recharged. When you replace a BBU, you should run the utility program and reset this
counter to zero for the new BBU. Intel
®
recommends that you replace the battery pack on
the BBU once a year or after 500 recharging cycles, whichever comes first. The battery
pack has one year warranty.
