There are two embedded software RAID options using the storage ports configured from the
SCU only:
 Intel
®
Embedded Server RAID Technology 2 (ESRT2) based on LSI* MegaRAID SW
RAID technology supporting SATA RAID levels 0,1,10, 5.
 Intel

Rapid Storage Technology (RSTe) supporting SATA RAID levels 0, 1, 5, and 10.
The server board is capable of supporting additional chipset embedded SAS and RAID options
from the SCU controller when configured with one of the several available Intel
®
RAID C600
Storage Upgrade Keys. Upgrade keys install onto a 4-pin connector on the server board labeled
“SAS/SATA Key”.
