• Get System MAC Address — This command enables the MC to retrieve the system MAC address
used by the NC. This MAC address can be used for a shared MAC address mode.
• Keep PHY Link Up (Veto bit) Enable/Disable — This feature enables the MC to block PHY reset,
which might cause session loss.
• TCO Reset — Enables the MC to reset the I210.
• Checksum offloading — Offloads IP/UDP/TCP checksum checking from the MC.
• OS2BMC control commands.
• Firmware Versions Command
• Shared MAC and shared IP commands.
These commands are designed to be compliant with their corresponding SMBus commands (if existing).
All of the commands are based on a single DMTF defined NC-SI command, known as OEM Command.
This command is as follows.
10.6.3.1.1 OEM Command (0x50)
The OEM command can be used by the MC to request the sideband interface to provide vendor-specific
information.
10.6.3.1.2 OEM Response (0xD0)
Note: Responses have no command-specific reason code, unless otherwise specified within the
command.
