1.8.1 Intel 865G Graphics Subsystem
The Intel 865G chipset contains two separate, mutually exclusive graphics options. Either the
Intel Extreme Graphics 2 controller (contained within the 82865G GMCH) is used, or an AGP
add-in card can be used. When an AGP add-in card is installed, the Intel Extreme Graphics 2
controller is disabled.

• High performance 3-D setup and render engine
• High quality/performance texture engine
• Display
 Integrated 24-bit 350 MHz RAMDAC
 DDC2B compliant interface
• Video
 Dual monitor synchronous display with ADD card
 Hardware motion compensation for software MPEG2 decode
 Two multiplexed DVO port interfaces with 165 MHz pixel clocks using an AGP Digital
Display (ADD) card
• Dynamic Video Memory Technology (DVMT) support up to 64 MB
