Step 3. Set the function for Bottom Barrel Button to Erase and set Hover Click to On.
After near-screen click is enabled, you may use the pen buttons like you would the left and right buttons on a
mouse.
Note: To use near-screen click function, the pen tip should be placed near the computer screen, within 1
cm. You may set Windows Settings to show pen cursor so that you know whether the pen is placed near
enough.
Check the pen's battery status
Step 1. Tap the pen tip on the computer screen.
Note: Always tap the pen tip on the screen before viewing the pen’s battery status. Otherwise, the
reading as shown in Lenovo Pen Settings is not accurate.
Step 2. Open Lenovo Pen Settings. A battery icon is displayed in the upper right corner.
Step 3. Move the mouse pointer on top of the battery icon to view the charge reading.
If the pen’s battery charge is low, insert the pen back into the slot for charging.
The virtual control dial
With the integrated pen, you can display a virtual control dial on the computer screen. The dial is comprised
of eight sectors. Each sector can be assigned a function, so you can use the dial to perform tasks quickly.

Define dial functions
You can define the dial's functions in Lenovo Pen Settings.
Step 1. Open Lenovo Pen Settings.
Step 2. Select Radial Menu.
Step 3. Select a sector on the dial.
Step 4. Enter a label text for the sector and select a target function from the drop-down list.
Step 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to define functions for other sectors.
