Notes:
• The pen is not charged at factory. Charge the pen before first use.
• Ensure the pen is completely inserted into the slot and the computer is not turned off or in hibernation
mode.

Pen settings
You can change pen related settings in Windows Settings and Lenovo Pen Settings. The default function of
the top button and the bottom button may vary when the pen is used on different applications.

Windows Settings (Pen & Windows Ink)
• Show or hide pen cursor
• Set the font size and family for handwriting
• Improve handwriting recognition
Note:
This function is not supported by all languages.
Lenovo Pen Settings
• View the battery status of the pen
• Change functions for the top and bottom buttons
• Enable or disable near-screen click for the top and
bottom buttons
• Set pen tip sensitivity
Open Pen & Windows Ink in Windows Settings
Step 1. In Windows 10, select Start ➙ Settings.
Step 2. Select Devices ➙ Pen & Windows Ink.
Open Lenovo Pen Settings
Step 1. In Windows 10 search box, enter Lenovo Pen Settings.
Step 2. Select the matched result.
Enable near-screen click for pen buttons
You can enable near-screen click for the pen’s top and bottom buttons so that they can work like the left and
right buttons of a mouse.

Step 1. Open Lenovo Pen Settings.
Step 2. Set the function for Top Barrel Button to Barrel Button and set Hover Click to On.
