To begin monitoring, connect the sensor to the patient; reference 3.6.2 Connecting a
Sensor to a Patient, below.
When the system identifies that a sensor has been connected to the BISx module, the
system will perform Sensor Initialization to check that the sensor is supported and
that impedance values are in the acceptable range.
