ISOELECTRIC EEG
No discernible EEG
activity is detected
for sixty-three
seconds; SR = 100.
Note: This
message notifies
user of a flatline
EEG. This is a
normal condition
when sensor
simulator is
connected.
If unintended:
1. Check patient vital signs,
dosage, etc.
2. Check leads for proper
connection and possible
shorts.
3. Verify Sensor Check
passes.
4. Verify DSC Self-test
passes.
5. Verify PIC, using the
sensor simulator and
Sensor Check.
HIGH
SENSOR
OVERCURRENT
Sensor is using too
much current.
1. Disconnect and examine
sensor connection. Clean
any contamination.
2. Replace sensor if
necessary.
3. Replace PIC.
4. Replace BISx.
