Uninstalling Samsung Recovery Solution
You can uninstall the Samsung Recovery Solution application.
When you uninstall this application, the recovery area of
the hard disk drive will not be deleted. When you press
the
F4 key while turning on the computer, the computer
boots up in restoration mode. You can use the restore and
backup functions in this mode.

Select the Start button ( )

Control Panel
→
Uninstall a
program
.

Select Samsung Recovery Solution
→
Uninstall .
The application will be deleted.
Samsung Recovery Solution
What is a Recovery Area?
The computer has an additional partition for restoring data or
saving backup files (only for models with the
Samsung Recovery
Solution
application). This partition is called a Recovery Area and
it includes a recovery image comprised of the operating system
and applications.
Data Restore

When backing up onto DVD
Turn the computer on and insert the backup DVD into the
DVD drive.
When backing up to a removable storage device
Connect the removable storage device.
When backing up to another drive
Proceed to Step 2.

Select Restore
→
Data Restore in the start screen of the
Samsung Recovery Solution.

Select a backup item to be restored in the backup list and
select
Next .

Select a folder for the restoration and select Next .
Data Restore begins.

When Data Restore is completed, check if the data has been
restored to the specified folder.
