Usingthefingerprintreader
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermighthaveafingerprintreader.Fingerprintauthenticationcan
replaceyourWindowspassword.Inthisway,youcanlogontoyourcomputersimplyandsecurely.To
enablefingerprintauthentication,enrollyourfingerprintsfirst.
Enrollingyourfingerprint
Toenrollyourfingerprints,dothefollowing:
1.StarttheLenovoFingerprintManagerprogram.ForinstructionsonhowtostarttheFingerprintManager
Proprogram,see“Lenovoprograms”onpage12.
2.EntertheWindowspasswordasrequired.
3.Clicktheiconforthefingerthatyouwanttoenroll,andconstantlyswipeyourcorrespondingfinger
acrossthefingerprintreaderuntiltheenrollmentcompletes.Formoreinformation,see“Swipingyour
fingeroverthefingerprintreader”onpage50.
4.ClickFinish.Yourfingerprintisenrolledsuccessfully.
