Volume
Adjust the system volume or sound volume when playing music
or video.
To adjust the volume, do one of the following:

To turn down the volume, press the Fn key and the F7 key
simultaneously.

To turn up the volume, press the Fn key and the F8 key
simultaneously.

Open the Charms, select the Settings charm

, and drag
the slider.
The LCD screen is set to the brightest level automatically
when the AC adapter is connected. The LCD screen
gets dimmer automatically when the AC adapter is
disconnected to preserve battery power.
