Active X does not run in Internet Explorer on the Start
screen.

Since Internet Explorer on the Start screen complies with the
HTML5 web standards, it does not support Active X. However,
Internet Explorer on the Desktop supports Active X.
How to activate Active X:
If you right-click over the Internet Explorer, the following
window appears. Press the
button and click View on the
Desktop. Active X is now enabled.

I want to remove the pre-installed Windows 8 or
Windows 8.1, and install a dierent OS.

If you want to install a dierent operating system on your
PC, you need to change the BIOS settings rst.

go to Customer Support > Troubleshooting. Search for
Windows 8 or Windows 8.1, and look through the list of
search results for the relevant issue.

The screen overlaps the text characters, or the font
looks smaller.

If the font size is set too large or too small, the screen may
overlap the text, resulting in poor readability.
On the desktop, right-click an empty area and click
Personalize > Display > Resize all items, and then click
Apply.
