Connect the AC adapter.

Lift the LCD panel up.

Press the Power button to turn the computer on.

If the power is turned on, the Power Button LED is lit.

About Windows Activation
When you turn the computer on for the rst time, the Windows
activation screen appears.
Follow the activation procedures according to the instructions on
the screen to use the computer.
The computer’s date and time may be incorrect when you turn
it on for the rst time. They may also hey may also be incorrect if
the batter has been fully discharged or removed. To set the date
and time, go to the desktop taskbar and right-click the clock area.
Then, click Adjust date/time and set the current date and time.
Adjusting the screen brightness
When the computer runs on battery power, the LCD brightness is
automatically set to low.
Press the
+ key combination to increase the screen
brightness.

Open the Charms.
tTouchpad/mouse: Drag the mouse pointer to the top- or
the bottom-right corner of the screen.

Increase the bar by pressing the Settings > Brightness
