2. Getting Started
Introduction
The Clane system transforms eldercare with advanced sensor technology that learns the daily living
patterns of senior residents. The care sta sends you a series of questions that facilitates the delivery of
personalized care to help improve response times and identify potential problems before they become
emergencies.
Starting a Session
When you  rst get the prompt on your touchscreen, simply touch the screen to start the session and
follow the instructions on the screen.
For any question if, you are not ready to respond, you may defer the session by •
pressing the "Ask Later" button on the screen and you will be prompted later.
When ready, answer each question by pressing the appropriate button (Yes or No) •
on the screen.
Ending a Session
After the session, leave the touchscreen on. •
Note: Please inform your care sta of your travel schedule when you leave the house for more than one
day.
