Observe the following safety precautions and warnings when setting up and
using this product.
LCD panel – The LCD panel is made of glass, and may break if the unit is
dropped. Place the unit securely on a stable surface.
Heat sources – Keep the product away from heat sources, such as radia-
tors, stoves, heaters, and other heat-generating products.
Water and moisture – Do not use the product in or near water or in high
moisture areas, such as a bathroom.
Do not clean any part of your phone with benzene, thinner or other solvent
chemicals. It may cause permanent damage and void all manufacturer’s
warranties. When necessary, clean it with a damp cloth.
Keep your phone away from hot, humid conditions or strong sunlight.
Never immerse the unit in water or use your phone outdoors, or handle it with
wet hands.
Do not subject the base unit to extreme force, shock, or fluctuations in humidity.
Do not tamper with the internal components or disassemble the unit.
Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of different types. Replace with
new batteries.
The product is made with highest standards. If you need a service for your
phone, call your supplier or Krown authorized dealers.
Consult your local solid waste collection or disposal organization for recycling
or proper disposal batteries.
Do not place an open flame near by the phone.
Disconnect the base unit from the phone line and the AC outlet when there is a
storm in your area.
Avoid installing the base unit near a sink, bath or shower, orawhere it could get
wet. It can cause serious injuryor electric shock.
If the base unit falls into water, unplug the base from the outlet and the tele
phone line; then pull it out by the unplugged cables.
Use the battery pack supplied with the handset. Do not use non-rechargeable
batteries, it may cause explosion or leak and void all manufacturer warranties.
