C Caution
Do not remove the USB flash drive or switch the unit
to the standby mode while the contents of the drive
are being accessed. It may result in malfunction or loss
of the drive’s data.
Onkyo cannot be held responsible if your USB flash
drive is not supported, nor will Onkyo accept any
liability for damage or loss of stored data.
If you connect SD card or USB flash drive via USB
card reader or USB hub, BD-ROM data will be write
onto the first connected card or device. Connecting a
USB flash drive directly to this unit is recommended.

The resume information will be cleared when;
–[Ê (stop)] is pressed while in the Resume-On-Stop
mode.

Do not delete the folders or files in the USB flash
drive with your computer. This unit may not read USB
flash drives formatted on a computer.
If a folder or file name includes one of the following
unrecognizable characters, the folder or file name may
not be displayed correctly.
Unrecognizable characters:
. , “ = + [ ] ; / \ : | ¥
This unit can read MP3 / WMA / JPEG files in an
SD card by using USB card reader / USB hub (not
supplied).
8.4 Playing Back Movie / Music / Photo
from DLNA Certified Home Media
Servers
On this unit, you can play movie, music and photo files
stored on DLNA certified home media servers connected
to your home network. In order to use this feature, you
must connect this unit to the Internet.
For details, refer to the user manual of the DLNA
certified device.
1. Connect this unit to the Internet.
Refer to “Connection to the Network” on page 22.
2. Set up the necessary network connection settings.
Refer to “Network Connection” on page 40.
3. Start DLNA home media servers in your home
network.
4. Press [Home
].
5. Use [Î / ï / Í / Æ] to select “Home Network”, then
press [Enter].
This unit will start loading the home server list.
To cancel loading, press [Ê (stop)].
To reload the home server list, press [D].
To go back to the root directory, press
[Top Menu].
6. After loading, home server list will appear. Select a
home server you want to access, then press [Enter].
7. File list of the selected home server will appear. Select
a file you want to play back, then press [B (play)] or
[Enter] to start playback.
If you select a folder, select a file in the folder
and then press [B (play)] or [Enter] to start
playback.
