Connecting the
CDC-3.4-Continued
You
can use the following multi-room kits to control the
CDC-3.4 when it's out
of
range
of
the remote controller:
Integra Multi-Room System (IR Remote Controller
Extension System)
Multiroom
AV
distribution and control systems such
as those made by Niles® and Xantech®.

Controlling
the CDC-3.4 When It's
Out
of
Range
If
the CDC-3.4 is located
in
another room, installed in a
cabinet,
or
out
of
range
of
its remote controller, you can
use a commercially available IR receiver to pickup the
remote controller signals and feed them to the CDC-3.4,
as shown below.

Components
If
another
AV
component is out
of
range
of
its remote
controller, you can use a commercially available IR
emitter to retransmit the remote controller signals
received at the CDC-3.4's IR IN, as shown below.
