Setting Up Web Administration
ContentBarrier X5 includes a way to monitor Internet use on your computer even when you’re far
away, through a Web Administration interface that you can view from any web browser. First, you
must set up a free account: if you haven’t already set up an account in the ContentBarrier X5 Setup
Assistant, choose ContentBarrier X5 > Preferences..., then click the Web Administration icon.
To set up your ContentBarrier X5 Web Administration account, click Register…. In the sheet that
displays, enter your e-mail address, your password, then confirm your password. Click Create to
create your account. If you have an account and need to sign in, enter your e-mail address and
password, then click Sign In.
In either case, you’ll see a screen telling you that web reporting is enabled, and offering you the
opportunity to disable it, if you wish. To connect to your ContentBarrier X5 Web Administration
web page, click Open Web Administration. Your web browser will take you to a login page, where
you must enter the e-mail address and password you used to set up your account.
After logging into your Web Administration page, you’ll see a log page, which displays information
