SGM PilotBox Troubleshooting
9 Troubleshooting
The following table shows typical errors and their cause to support troubleshooting.
Error Cause
LED "Release" blinks, charging
will not be started
Operating voltage too low. The operating voltage
must be at least 10,8 V (12 V -10%) that the connec-
tor locking actuator can be controlled safely. If the
operating voltage is too low, the buffer in the SGM
PilotBox cannot be charged completely and the LED
"Release" blinks to signal charging.
LED "Release" lights red, relay
in the SGM PilotBox clicks cy-
clic every approx. 10 s. The LED
"Release" starts to blink after a
few minutes.
The connector locking is not connected correctly.
The SGM PilotBox tries to open the connector lock-
ing after the start and checks the proper opening via
the feedback contact "Interlock_FB" (15). +12 V must
be present at this terminal with opened connector
locking..
LED "Release" is off, a charging
cannot be started.
The terminal "Release" (8) must be connected to in-
put voltage to enable.
Connector locking does not
open completely upon power
failure.
The operating voltage is <13 V and the connection of
the terminal "Interlock_NC" (19) to operating volt-
age is missing. Therefore, the integrated buffering
does not supply sufficient energy.
