Set_MaxCurrent_0
Set_MaxCurrent_1
Setting the maximum possible charging current
The charging current is usually limited by the capacity of the
charging station and will be set using these two inputs.
Binary 4-stage coding:
Set_Max_Current_0 Set_Max_Current_1 Power
inactive inactive 13 A
active inactive 20 A
inactive active 32 A
active active 63 A
8 Release Charging release
Charging is only negotiated by means of the pilot signal, if this
input is enabled.
Disabling this input during charging stops the charging process.
15 Interlock_Feedback Connector locking feedback
The feedback must be designed as normally open contact
against the terminal Interlock_2 and this contact must be closed
with unlocked plug (this is the charging plug design according to
VDE-AR-E 2623-2-2 (Mennekes socket)).

Term. Signal Description
3 Charge Charging contactor control
This relay output controls the contactor that connects the charging
socket with the grid.
Relay contact against input voltage (terminal 1)
Inactive: open
Active: connected to input voltage
Load capacity: 2 A
The charging contactor must ensure a maximum cut-off time of
less than 60 ms to comply with the IEC61851-1 requirement "Cut-
off within 100 ms" in combination with this relay (40 ms).
4 Ventilation Ventilation control
This relay output will be enabled, if the vehicle requests ventila-
tion.
Relay contact against input voltage (terminal 1)
Inactive: open
Active: connected to input voltage
Load capacity: 2 A
