Warning: DO NOT use Omnipod 5
System if you are taking hydroxyurea,
a medication used in the treatment of
diseases including cancer and sickle
cell anemia. Your Dexcom G6 CGM
values may be falsely elevated and
result in over-delivery of insulin that
can result in severe hypoglycemia.
CGM Precautions
Caution: You cannot use the Dexcom
G6 receiver with the Omnipod 5
System because the Omnipod 5 System
is compatible only with the G6 app on a
smartphone.
