Blockage Detected
Cause
e Pods cannula is blocked,
which has stopped insulin
delivery. Receiving too
little insulin may lead to
hyperglycemia and DKA.
Vibration/Tone
e Pod sounds the alarm.
e Omnipod 5 app also
sounds the alarm, if enabled.
What to do
1. Tap OK, DEACTIVATE
POD NOW.
2. Change your Pod.
3. Check your blood
glucose.
Warning: A blockage may result from blocked tubing, a Pod malfunction,
or from using old or inactive insulin (see Blockage Detected on page 195).
If insulin delivery is interrupted by a blockage, check your glucose levels
and follow the treatment guidelines established by your healthcare provider.
Hyperglycemia could result if appropriate actions are not taken.
