Please read these instructions carefully to
familiarize yourself with the required tools, materials,
and installation sequences. Follow the sections that
pertain to your particular installation. This will help
you avoid costly mistakes. In addition to proper
installation, read all operating and safety instructions.
All information is based on the latest product
information available at the time of publication.

These instructions contain important care, cleaning,
and warranty information-
Please provide adequate available space for the
bath unit in accordance with rough-in. Arrange the
location of drain in advance.
All installations must comply with council and local
authority by-laws. It is the responsibility of the installer
to ensure that the waste is made watertight by means
of silicone sealant or caulking compound.
Bath drain supplies should be arranged preliminarily
according to the selected bath.

This product complies with JC/T 644.

Bath can be installed after the wall is completed.

A. Summary Of Key Requirements
Observe all local plumbing codes.
Install the unit to a level and flat floor.
LITHOCAST bath is heavy. Please make sure the
floor provides adequate support for the bath. With its
weight and water consumption marked in the
roughing-in, the bath is supported with four
70mmx70mm squared feet. Please evaluate with the
data above if your floor provides adequate support
for the weight of the bath, water and the user.

C. New or Replacement Installation
Requirements
This bath can be installed in new or existing bathrooms.
For replacement: Remove the old bath. Remove any
old plumbing that does not confo m to the rough-in
requirements.
For new installation: Position the plumbing according to
the rough-in dimensions. Cap the suppliers, and check
for leaks.

B. Transport the Bath

transporting the bath.

recommended to use lifting straps.

A. Protect the Bath Unit
Position a protective covering or similar material in the
bottom of the unit. Be careful not to scratch the bath
surface.

INSTALL THE BATH
B. Locate the bath in the proposed position

The bath must be installed level on all top edges.
Floor should be flat, level and free of any bumps or
protrusions.
IMPORTANT:
Lift the stone bath by about 30cm from the floor. You
can support the bath with 30cm-height-blocks

2. The drain of the bath is instructed to the bath
beforehand. Please insert the drain hose to the floor
drain, and seal the connection of hose and the floor
drain with silica gel. Please set apart some spare
length of the hose ,in case of future bath
maintainance.

3. Place the bath on the floor. Put the spirit level to the
upper level of the bath to measure the levelness. If
the bath is not level, please put sheet metal under
the bath to raise it up. You might need to lift the bath
several times.

A. Plumbing Installation
The drain has been installed onto the bath before it
leaves factory. Fill the bath with water before the bath
is securely positioned so as to check the supply
connections for leaks. Kohler Co. shall not be liable
under its warranty or otherwise for damage caused by
negligence.
Take extra care to prevent bath bottom and
subfloor from damage.

Note:
Cleaning and Care
Cleaning Surfaces: Do not use abrasive
cleansers on any surfaces, as they will
scratch and dull the surface. Wipe out the bath after
each use to prevent a build-up of soap and scum.
