QUICK & EASY STEPS TO THE PERFECT INSTALLATION
INSTATRIM ACCESSORIES
● CLEAN – Thoroughly clean the surface where InstaTrim
will be installed by removing old caulk, grout and debris.
Wipe down the area with a damp cloth, using isopropyl
alcohol or acetone to help ensure adhesion. Let the surface
dry completely. BE SURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
ON REVERSE IF YOU ARE REMOVING SILICONE FROM
THE SURFACE.
● MEASURE – Lay the new trim strip along the application
area to determine the length needed. Add 1/4 inch, cut with
a razor blade or scissors.
● PEEL – Locate the thin plastic release liner that covers the
adhesive and peel back about 12 inches of liner.
● PRESS – Line up the end of the strip with the end of the
application area and lightly press it into place every 3-4
inches along the strip, pulling back additional liner as you
work. If the placement isn’t quite right, you can pull the
strip back from the surface to re-align. CAUTION: Do not
pull or stretch the InstaTrim while you work as this may
cause the ends to shrink back over time.
● APPLY FIRM PRESSURE – Once the trim is set into place,
press it onto the surface every 1-2 inches along the strip.
Go over the entire strip again with FIRM pressure to
ensure the adhesive has spread and adhered to the
application surface. We recommend using the InstaTrim
Applicator Tool to make installation even easier.

TIP: If you are having issues with the adhesive sticking to the surface, review the directions for cleaning, especially the section about silicone
removal. Also, make sure the InstaTrim is at room temperature, and if needed, use a hairdryer to warm the strip slightly before installing.
InstaTrim’s Corner and End Caps make it quick and easy to finish
inside and outside corners and to hide exposed trim ends,
leaving you with a smooth professional finish.
● Press the InstaTrim strip into place along the remaining
portion of the installation surface according to the installa-
tion instructions.
● HELPFUL TIP: Remove a small ball of adhesive from the
InstaTrim strip and use it to adhere the corner piece to the
surface or use a small drop of permanent glue to be sure
it stays in place.

● Place corner piece or end cap in
place on the installation surface.
● Slide the end of the InstaTrim
between the ‘face’ and ‘tail’ of the
corner or end piece.
