OUTDOOR FURNITURE CARE & MAINTENANCE effective 2019
GENERAL FRAME, ALUMINUM TOP, & RESIN WICKER CARE: For best results, clean once a year with mild soap
and water, rinse and let drain. For spot cleaning, a soft bristle brush may be used to loosen food particles, dirt and debris. If not
in use for a period of time or exposed to temperatures below 32-degree Fahrenheit, it is recommended to store furniture and
accents in a dry, cool place with a furniture cover to maximize protection and extend product use.
SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT use solvents, janitorial cleaners, alcohol-based cleaners, protectants, scouring agents,
bleach, gasoline or ammonia-based cleaners.
NORMAL FRAME CARE FOR EXTREME COASTAL ENVIRONMENTS:
Peak Season recognizes that certain extreme environments exist and accelerate the potential for oxidation, therefore if
your Peak Season furniture is exposed to a salt air environment, we strongly suggest washing the furniture with a mild
soap and water mix 2 to 3 times a year to help resist oxidation. Furthermore, Peak Season suggests that any surface
condition that results in oxidation should be promptly treated and repaired by lightly (wire) brushing the area to bare
metal and applying a suitable primer for metal. After allowing enough time to dry, touch-up paint may be applied.
This action will prevent the condition from spreading and preserve the life of the furniture.
WOOD FRAME & ACCENT CARE: Use a soft damp cloth to wipe away any stains or dirt. For regular care and
maintenance, it is highly recommended to rinse your furniture with a soap solution and clean water every 3 months. For spot
cleaning, a soft bristle brush may be used to loosen food particles, dirt and debris. After any spot cleaning, rinse again with
clean water and leave to dry. Ensure furniture is fully dry prior to storage. If not in use for a period of time or exposed to
temperatures below 32-degree Fahrenheit, it is recommended to store furniture and accents in a dry, cool place with a furniture
cover to maximize protection and extend product use.
SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT apply any abrasive chemicals that may spoil the product. DO NOT use a pressure washer
or you will damage the texture of the wood.
FABRIC, SLIP, & PILLOW CARE: To clean, wipe down with mild soap & water. Let air dry. If mildew and tougher stains
occur; refer to Sunbrella.com® for additional instructions. For spot cleaning, a soft bristle brush may be used to loosen food
particles, dirt and debris.
NON-GLASS ALTERNATIVE TABLE TOPS & STONE ACCENT CARE:
Blot to remove spills immediately to prevent staining. Be sure to keep clean with a damp cloth on a regular basis. Re-seal at
least once a year or more if placed in full sun for extended periods of time. All-natural stone table tops must be securely stored
(on-edge) when not in use.
BURNER UNIT CARE: For tables that include burner units, it is recommended to use and store unit on a leveled
surface free of debris or trash. When not is use, remove burner and store in a safe, cool, covered location away from
easy access by children. Place fire burner lid over the unit. Once a month empty fire table burner and clean the
exterior with damp cloth containing stainless steel cleaner.
SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT use other abrasives or any abrasive cloth, always making certain the cavity of the
burner is kept free from all debris before refueling.
WIND GUARD CARE: Only clean the unit when it is cool. Use paper towel and glass cleaner to clean glass. It is
recommended to disassemble and store glass components in a cool dry place when not in use.
