SECTION 4 FIRST AID MEASURES
particles cannot be easily removed.
First Aid - Skin: In the unlikely event that contact causes a reaction, flush area with water and seek
medical attention.
First Aid - Ingestion: In the event that dusts, particles or pieces of the sheet are accidentally swallowed,
seek medical attention, if passageways become blocked or feel unwell.
First Aid - Inhalation: In the event that respiratory symptoms or other symptoms of exposure develop,
move to fresh air and seek medical attention.
Important Symptoms /
Effects – Acute and
Delayed:
None (for the product itself).
Exposure to dusts, particles or pieces of the sheet during installation may lead to
potential mechanical irritation, difficult breathing or a choking hazard.
Advice to Physician: Treat symptomatically.
SECTION 5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Extinguishing Media: Treat surrounding material. Water spray, dry chemical, carbon dioxide, or
foam is recommended. Carbon dioxide can displace oxygen. Use caution
when applying carbon dioxide in confined spaces.
Specific Hazards: This product has been treated and will not readily burn. This product may
give rise to hazardous vapors in a fire. Vapors/fumes may be irritating,
corrosive and/or toxic.
Protective equipment and
procedures for fire-fighters.
Wear full protective clothing and self-contained breathing apparatus.
Additional Advice: None.
SECTION 6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Spill Procedures: Sweep up or collect solid material and transfer into suitable containers for
recovery or disposal.
Personal Precautions: Wear suitable protective clothing.
Environmental Precautions: No special containment is necessary.
SECTION 7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
Handling: Wear appropriate personal protection (See Section 8) when handling this material. If
dusts or particulates are formed in the process of installation, avoid contact with
eyes. Wash thoroughly after handling. Avoid breathing dusts. Use in a well-
ventilated area.
Storage: Use and store this material at room temperature, away from excessive heat or
sources of ignition. Keep away from incompatible materials (see Section 10).
Additional Advice: Store as directed by the manufacturer.
SECTION 8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS AND PERSONAL PROTECTION
