TROUBLESHOOTING
Water ow is abnormally slow
•  Check the indicator to see if it’s time to change the cartridge. If yes, 
replace the cartridge immediately. 
•  Remove the cartridge and shake it horizontally in order to shift the 
granules inside.
•  Remove the cartridge. Flush it under owing water for about 
30 seconds to clear a possible blockage at the exit point. Stop 
ushing and shake the lter horizontally. Then put the lter back in 
the pitcher. 
Water tastes bad
• Clean the pitcher.
•  Make sure that the water lter is installed correctly. 
•  Replace the lter cartridge.
Particles are on the surface of the lter cartridge in the ltered 
water
•  Fine particles are part of the lter material, which may leak out 
during long-distance transportation due to shaking and other 
reasons. These particles will not have a negative impact on health. In 
order to remove these ne particles, see “CHANGING THE WATER 
FILTER”.
SUBSTANCE REDUCTION
The system has been tested and certied by the NSF international according to NSF/ANSI standard 
42. The certication of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a 
concentration less than or equal to the permissible limit for the water leaving the system, as 
specied by NSF/ANSI standard 42. While testing was performed under standard laboratory 
conditions, actual performance may vary.
