Use this fire table only with a propane vapor withdrawal supply system. See chapter 5 of the standard for storage and handling of liquefied petroleum gas, ANS/NFPA 58. Your local library or fire department should have this book. Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible only if the tank is disconnected and removed from the appliance. A tank must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of the reach of children.

28" Square Fire Table - Black Assembling your fire table CAUTION: We recommend that you get assistance during the assembly process to avoid strains or injury, or damage to the fire table parts. Note: Before you begin to assemble your fire table, make sure that all parts are present. Compare the parts with the package contents list and hardware contents above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble your fire table. Contact customer service for replacement parts.

28" Square Fire Table - Black STEP 2: Attaching the back panel You need: AA M6 × 12 mm bolt (4) FF Phillips screwdriver K back panel 1 Turn the unit upright, then attach the back panel (K) to the left and right side panels (E and L) with four M6 x 12 mm bolts (AA). Tighten the bolts with the Phillips screwdriver (FF). Bottom of your fire table www.insigniaproducts.
STEP 3: Installing the door You need: G door D doorframe H Door handle CC M4 × 6 mm screw (2) EE Washer (2) AA M6 × 12 mm bolts (4) BB M6 × 25 mm bolts (2) FF Phillips screwdriver 1 Attach the door handle (H) to the door by putting the M4 x 6 mm (CC) screw through the washer (EE) and through the holes in the door (G), then tightening the screws until snug. 2 First attach the doorframe (D) to the side panel with four M6 × 12 mm bolts (AA) and to the bottom plate with two M6 × 25 mm bolts (BB).
28" Square Fire Table - Black STEP 4: Attaching the table to the base assembly You need: AA M6 × 12 mm bolt (4) FF Phillips screwdriver C table 1 Place the table (C) face down on a pad or piece of cardboard (to prevent damage), then turn the base assembly over onto the table so that the holes in the base assembly align with the holes in the table. 2 Secure the base assembly to the table (C) with four M6 x 12 mm bolts (AA), then tighten with the Phillips screwdriver (FF). STEP 5: Installing the burner assembly You need GG ST4.2 x 12 mm bolt FF Phillips screwdriver B burner assembly 1 Turn the table assembly upright. 2 Remove the knob from the burner assembly by pulling it outward off the shaft. 3 Place the burner assembly (B) into the square cutout in the table (C) so that the four screw holes in the burner assembly align with the holes in the square cutout in the table. 4 Secure the burner assembly (B) to the table (C) with four STA4.2 x 12 mm bolts (GG).
28" Square Fire Table - Black STEP 6: Installing the control panel You need: F control panel DD M5× 8 mm screw (2) FF Phillips screwdriver 1 Align the two holes in the control panel (F) with the holes in the left side panel (E), then attach the control panel with two M5 x 8 mm screws (DD). Tighten with the Phillips screwdriver (FF). 2 Replace the knob onto the burner assembly. www.insigniaproducts.
STEP 7: Adding the lava rocks You need: J Lava Rocks Note: This fire table is compatible with either lava rocks or glass stones. You can choose whichever you prefer. Lava rocks are provided with this fire table. • Add one bag of lava rocks (J) evenly to the burner tray. Do not cover the ignition parts. 18 www.insigniaproducts.
28" Square Fire Table - Black STEP 8: Installing the propane tank To make sure that the propane tank is installed correctly, see IMPORTANT PROPANE TANK INFORMATION on page 5. WARNING: • Do not store a spare LP-gas tank under or near this appliance. • Never fill the tank beyond 80 percent full. • Place the dust cap on the tank valve outlet whenever the tank is not in use. Use the dust cap that is provided with the tank valve. Other types of caps or plugs may result in leakage of propane.
To disconnect the tank 1 Open the door in the front of your fire table, then loosen the wing nut that secures the tank in the tray. 2 Fully close the tank valve by turning it clockwise. 3 Turn the coupling nut counterclockwise until the regulator assembly detaches, then remove the tank. 20 www.insigniaproducts.
28" Square Fire Table - Black STEP 9: Testing for gas leaks WARNING: • Perform all leak tests outdoors. • Extinguish all open flames. • NEVER leak test when smoking. • Do not use your fire table until all connections have been leak tested and do not leak. 1 Use a leak detection solution. OR Make a two to three ounce leak detection solution (one part liquid dish washing detergent and three parts water). 2 Make sure that the fire table valve is OFF.

28" Square Fire Table - Black Before you begin using your fire table WARNING: CARBON MONOXIDE HAZARD For outdoor use only. Never use inside a house, or other unventilated or enclosed areas. Your fire table consumes air (oxygen). Do not use in unventilated or enclosed areas to avoid endangering your life. WARNINGS: • Very hot while in a operation! • Never lean over your fire table while in use. • Do not touch the tile of the spark guard while your fire table is in operation.
Using your fire table Lighting your fire table WARNING: Be careful when attempting to manually ignite your fire table. Pressing the control knob for more than 10 seconds before igniting the gas can cause a ball of flame upon ignition. WARNING: Avoid inhaling fumes emitted from your fire table’s first use. Smoke and odor from the burning of oils used in manufacturing will appear. Both the smoke and odor dissipates after approximately 30 minutes. Your fire table should NOT produce thick black smoke.
28" Square Fire Table - Black IT E O FF LO W HI GH IG N 4 After your fire table lights, release the control knob. 5 Push in and turn the control knob to the HIGH position and leave it there for five minutes or more before turning the knob to the temperature setting you want. 6 If the burner flame goes out, turn off your fire table. Wait at least five minutes or more to let the gas dissipate, then repeat steps 2 to 4. Adjusting the flame The burner flame should be blue with straight yellow tops.

Cleaning your fire table Periodically clean the exterior surfaces of your fire table with warm soapy water. Never use flammable or corrosive cleaning agents. Notes: • While cleaning your fire table, be sure to keep the area around the burner dry at all times. • Do not submerge the control valve assembly in water.
