24 in. Outdoor Compact Refrigerator Setting up your refrigerator CAUTION: This appliance is heavy. We suggest having two people set up or move. Before using your refrigerator • • • Remove the exterior and interior packing. Let your refrigerator stand upright for approximately six hours before connecting it to power. This reduces the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from improper handling during transportation.
Installing the handle Notes: • We recommend having two people complete the installation. • To avoid scratching the front panel, place a soft cloth or towel against the panel while installing the door handle. 1 Remove the door handle and hardware bag from your refrigerator. The hardware bag contains a hex key and two extra screws. Handle 2 Place your refrigerator carefully on its back. 3 Place the handle on the mounting studs.
24 in. Outdoor Compact Refrigerator 4 Push the door handle tightly against the door. 5 Insert the short end of the hex key into the set screw and tighten until snug (do not overtighten). The set screw is not recessed into the handle. Hex key 6 Repeat Step 5 for the other set screw. 7 Keep the hex key with these installation instructions for future use.
3 Install the non-locking casters on the back of the appliance. 4 Install the locking casters on the front of the appliance. CAUTIONS: • After installing the casters, the refrigerator must be allowed to stand upright for six hours before plugging it in to avoid damage to internal components. • To avoid damage to the power cord, put the cord on top of the refrigerator when moving it. 24 in. Outdoor Compact Refrigerator Using the locking casters To lock the wheels, push down on the caster tab. To unlock the wheel, push up on the caster tab. Unlock Lock Front vent Your refrigerator is front vented. Do not block the front air vent. Doing so will result in high operating temperatures, higher energy usage, and possible system overheating and failure.
Notes: • The indicated depth requirement assumes that the electrical outlet is located in the adjacent cabinet or is flush mounted (not surface mounted) in the rear wall of the enclosure. • If the electrical outlet is located inside an adjacent cabinet, cut a 1.5 in. (3.8 cm) diameter hole to route the power cord. If the cabinet wall is metal, the hole edge must be covered with a bushing or grommet to protect the cord. 35 in. (88.9 cm) min. 1.5 in. (3.

Back of refrigerator Screws Compressor cover Leveling your refrigerator It is very important for your refrigerator to be level in order to function properly. If your refrigerator is not leveled during installation, the door may not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. 1 Move your refrigerator to its final location.
Your refrigerator should be properly grounded for your safety. The power cord of this refrigerator is equipped with a three-prong plug which plugs into a standard three-prong wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electrical shock.
24 in. Outdoor Compact Refrigerator • Do not use an extension cord with your refrigerator. If the power cord is too short, have a qualified electrician install an outlet near your refrigerator. Use of an extension cord can negatively affect your refrigerator’s performance. Using your refrigerator Turning on your refrigerator Your refrigerator turns on automatically the first time you plug it in. An audible beep will be heard, then the compressor starts working.
Positioning beverages in your refrigerator This refrigerator can hold a total of 114, 12 oz. (355 ml) aluminum cans. To do this: • Position the beverage cans vertically on the upper three shelves. The upper three shelves can hold a total of 77 cans. • Position 13 cans on their sides in the bottom of the main refrigerator compartment. • Position the beverage cans vertically in the door. This allows for 24 beverages total to be stored in the door.

Outdoor Compact Refrigerator Removing a shelf Shelves can be removed to accommodate larger containers. 1 Remove all food and beverages from the shelves. 2 Tilt one side of the shelf up as far as it will go, then gently pull out the shelf. Replacing a shelf • To reinstall the shelf, make sure that it is resting securely on the support brackets, then push inward until it clicks into place.
4 Be sure to keep the door gasket (seal) clean to keep your refrigerator running efficiently. 5 Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth. Defrosting your refrigerator Your refrigerator is equipped with an automatic defrost function and does not require manual defrosting. Defrost water from your refrigerator is channeled into a drip tray located above the compressor. Heat transfer from the compressor causes the defrost water to evaporate.

Outdoor Compact Refrigerator Moving your refrigerator 1 Turn off your refrigerator and unplug it from the wall outlet. 2 Remove all food and beverages. 3 Securely tape down all loose items inside your refrigerator. 4 Turn the leveling foot up to avoid damage. 5 Tape the door shut. 6 Protect the outside of your refrigerator with a blanket or similar item. 7 To avoid damage to the power cord, put the cord on top of the refrigerator.
Troubleshooting CAUTION: Do not try to repair your refrigerator yourself. Doing so invalidates the warranty. Error codes If the “HI”, “LO”, or “CL” error codes appear on the display for more than five minutes, a power reset may rectify the issue (see Temperature alarms and error codes on page 20). Unplug your refrigerator, wait five minutes, then plug it back in. If the error code persists, contact consumer care or an authorized service agent.
