Universal Swivel TV Base Assembly instructions Step 1 – Determine whether your TV has a flat back or an irregular or obstructed back 1 2 3 4 Carefully place your TV face-down on a cushioned, clean surface to protect the screen from damages and scratches. Temporarily lay the horizontal brackets (01) on the back of your TV. Align the screw holes in the brackets with the mounting screw holes on your TV.
NS-HTMS1 Step 2 – Select screws, washers, and spacers 1 Select the hardware for your TV (screws, washers, and spacers). A limited number of TVs come with mounting hardware included. (If screws came with your TV, they are almost always in the holes on the back of your TV.) If you don't know the correct length of the mounting screws your TV requires, test various sizes by hand threading the screws.

DO NOT use power tools for this step. Tighten the screws only enough to secure the TV bracket to your TV. DO NOT over tighten the screws.
NS-HTMS1 Step 3 – Option 2: Attach the horizontal brackets to an obstructed or irregularly-shaped TV back You’ll need Washers (select 1 set) Spacers 01 Horizontal bracket (2) 03 Spacer 02 Spacer (22 mm) (2.5 mm) (4) (8) Note: You can combine spacers 02 and 03 for extra length.
Universal Swivel TV Base Step 4 – Attach the vertical bracket You’ll need 15 Interface screw (4) Phillips screwdriver 14 Vertical bracket (1) 1 2 3 Center the vertical bracket (14) on the back of your TV. Secure the vertical bracket to the horizontal brackets (1) with four interface screws (15). Tighten the screws until they are snug against the vertical bracket. Make sure that all the brackets are securely fastened before moving on to the next step. www.insigniaproducts.
NS-HTMS1 Step 5 – Attach the post to the base You’ll need 17 Base (1) Phillips screwdriver 18 Lock screw (2) 16 Post (1) Note: The base (17) is made of plastic with steel structuring underneath. It has rubber feet which prevent it from sliding. 1 12 Insert the post (16) into the hole on the base (17). www.insigniaproducts.

NS-HTMS1 Step 6 – Attach your TV to the post You’ll need Phillips screwdriver 18 Lock screw (2) HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step. 1 Determine the height where you want to hang your TV. Note: If you have a soundbar attached to the bottom of your TV, make sure that you select a height on the stand that allows room for the soundbar.
