• DISC MENU—Selects a language for a disc menu (if multiple languages are
available on the DVD). If the language you select is not available on the DVD,
your player displays the default language. You can select ENGLISH,
ESPAÑOL, or FRANÇAIS.
• PARENTAL—Some DVDs may have parental levels assigned to the complete
DVD or to certain scenes on the DVD. This feature lets you set a playback
limitation level. The rating levels are KID SAFE, G, PG, PG-13, PG-R, R, NC17,
and ADULT. Ratings are country dependent. You can block entire DVDs that
are not suitable for your children or have certain DVDs played with alternate
scenes. Based on the rating you select, your player automatically displays
alternate scenes, if available on the DVD.
• PASSWORD—Lets you create or change a parental control password, or lets
you turn the password feature on and off. See Setting up a parental control
password on page 24.
• DEFAULT—Resets all options to the default settings.
4 Press ENTER to save your setting, then press SETUP to close the menu.

1 Press SETUP.
2 Press  or  to select PREFERENCE, then press ENTER.
3 Press  or  to select PASSWORD, then press ENTER.
