4 Press the  (up) or  (down) button to select
Format SD Card, then press the OK button. A
message asks you if you want to format the card.
5 Press the OK button. Your dash cam formats the
card.
About MicroSD storage
The memory area on the MicroSD card is divided into
two partitions, locked files (40%) and unlocked files
(60%). Your dash cam uses the unlocked partition for
loop recording and the locked partition for storing
emergency recordings. For more information, see

Manually turning your dash cam off
and on
Your dash cam turns on automatically when you turn on
your vehicle. You can manually turn your dash cam off,
then turn it back on.
•Press and hold the Menu button for three seconds to
turn your dash cam off. Press and hold this button
again for three seconds to turn it back on.
