depth of 9.38" in clearance for depth from the front edge of the
wall to the rear of the dehumidifier cabinet.
Ensure the opening is square, plumb and supports the bottom of
the unit. Install four screws (in mounting flanges) directly through
the sheetrock and into the 2 × 4 wall studs.
Securely insert the drain hose into the hub drain. Following
a continuous downward slope, fasten the hose securely to
the wall. Verify no crimps exist in the drain hose — inside
or outside the unit. Plug the dehumidifier into a properly
grounded GFI receptacle.
Set the dehumidifier to the desired humidistat setting and turn
on the dehumidifier. Install the grill cover using the provided
tamper-resistant screws. Do not overtighten screws.
 Ensure the unit is securely supported by sheet rock or
framing
 Make sure the drain hose is kink-free and has a continuous
downward slope below the drain port outside the unit
 Test each unit by slowly pouring water into drain pan

Surface Mount
A surface mount option is available for masonry CMU or
installations where the unit cannot be recessed into the wall.
L
ocating studs or wall anchors, attach the optional surface
mounting box to the wall. Lean the top of the IW25-3 forward
and insert the bottom of the unit into the box. Simultaneously
pull the bottom front of the IW25-3 to the front while pushing
the top back.
A
lign the cabinet flanges with the pre-drilled holes and,
using sheet metal screws, secure the IW25-3 to the surface
mounting box. Set the humidistat and install the cover.
Building Codes
Ensure installation complies with the requirements of all
applicable local, state and federal code jurisdictions.

7. Warranty
Innovative Dehu
midifier Systems LLC (IDS) warrants IW25-3 to
be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period
of 24 months after shipment. The warranty is limited to repair
or replacement of defective equipment and does not apply to
any part or component damaged in transit or, when handling,
subject to misuse, not installed, operated or serviced according
to the seller’s instructions, operated beyond the seller’s rated
capacity or altered in any way.
Routine maintenance is not covered by this warranty.
