• Use only Inmarsat-supplied or approved batteries,
and recharge your battery with Inmarsat-supplied
or approved chargers for the phone
• Unplug the charger from the power socket and your
phone when not in use. Do not leave a fully-charged
battery connected to a charger, as overcharging
may shorten its life. The battery can be charged and
discharged hundreds of times, but it will eventually
wear out. Batteries gradually lose their charge even
when the phone is completely switched off. When
the talk and standby times are noticeably shorter
than normal, replace the battery
• When using any cable connections with your phone,
ensure that it cannot be stepped on, tripped over or
otherwise subjected to damage or stress
• Upgrade your phone’s firmware when advised to do
so by Inmarsat or your service provider
These suggestions apply equally to your phone,
battery, chargers, and any accessory. If your phone is
not working properly, contact your service provider
