TROUBLESHOOTING:
The shredder does not work at all.
a) Make sure that the unit is plugged in and that the outlet is in good working order.
b) Make sure the unit is sitting flush on the wastebasket. Do not line the wastebasket
with plastic bags.
c) The shredder may have been run too long and the motor overheated. Move the
switch to the “off” position for 10 minutes before continuing.
d) A safety interlock switch on the unit prevents the shredder from running if the
basket is pulled out. Make sure the basket is pushed all the way back into the unit
before operation.
The shredder runs in “rev” mode but not in “auto” mode.
a) While in “auto” mode, the motor will not start until paper is inserted into the feed
slot. Set the unit to “auto” and insert paper to be shredded. It is normal for the
motor to run for a moment after setting it to “Auto” but it should stop until paper is
inserted.
b) The paper you are inserting may be too narrow and may not hit the activation
switch in the middle of the shred opening.
c) The trigger may have become blocked with paper. Insert a credit card, directly in
the center of the feed slot, and apply force. This will usually clear any paper
blocking the switch or force the switch closed.
MAINTENANCE:
Drizzle vegetable or cooking oil (nothing petroleum based) on a few pieces of paper
and feed them through the shredder once a month.
One-Year Limited Warranty
Init Products (“Init”) warrants to you, the original purchaser of this new product, that
the product shall be free of defects in the original manufacture of the material or
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of your purchase of the
product (“Warranty Period”). This product must be purchased from an authorized
dealer of Init brand products and packaged with this warranty statement. This
warranty does not cover refurbished product. If you notify Init during the Warranty
Period of a defect covered by this warranty that requires service, terms of this
warranty apply.
HOW LONG DOES THE COVERAGE LAST?
The Warranty Period lasts for one year (365 days) from the date you purchased the
product. The purchase date is printed on the receipt you received with the product.
WHAT DOES THIS WARRANTY COVER?
During the Warranty Period, if a product proves to be defective in manufacturing,
material or workmanship, Init will (at its sole option): (1) repair the product with new
or rebuilt parts; or (2) replace the product at no charge with new or rebuilt
comparable products or parts. Products and parts replaced under this warranty
become the property of Init and are not returned to you. This warranty lasts as long
as you own your Init product during the Warranty Period. Warranty coverage
terminates if you sell or otherwise transfer the product.

PROBLÈMES ET SOLUTIONS :
La déchiqueteuse ne fonctionne pas.
a) Vérifier que l'appareil est branché et que la prise secteur fonctionne.
b) Vérifier que l'appareil est correctement disposé sur le panier de récupération. Ne
pas garnir le panier de récupération avec des sacs en plastique.
c) Il est possible que la déchiqueteuse ait été utilisée trop longtemps et que le
moteur ait surchauffé. Mettre le commutateur en position « off » (arrêt) pendant
10 minutes avant de poursuivre.
d) Un interrupteur de sécurité sur l'appareil empêche la déchiqueteuse de
fonctionner si le panier est retiré. Vérifier que le panier est poussé à fond dans
l'appareil avant la mise en service.
La déchiqueteuse fonctionne en mode « rev » mais pas en mode « auto ».
a) En mode « auto », le moteur ne se met en route que si du papier est inséré dans la
fente d’introduction. Mettre l'appareil sur « auto » et insérer du papier dans la
fente. Il est normal que le moteur continue de tourner pendant quelques instants
après avoir été mis sur « Auto »; toutefois, il doit s’arrêter jusqu’à l’insertion de
papier.
b) Il est possible que le papier inséré soit trop étroit et ne déclenche pas le
commutateur d'activation au milieu de la fente d'insertion des documents.
c) Il est possible que le déclencheur soit bloqué par du papier. Insérer en forçant une
carte de crédit, directement au centre de la fente d’introduction. Cela a
généralement pour effet de dégager le papier qui bloque le commutateur ou de
forcer la fermeture du commutateur.
ENTRETIEN:
Une fois par mois, humecter quelques morceaux de papier avec de l’huile végétale ou
pour (rien à base de pétrole) et les insérer dans la déchiqueteuse.
Garantie limitée d’un an
Init Products (« Init ») garantit au premier acheteur de ce produit neuf qu’il est exempt
de vices de fabrication et de main-d’œuvre à l’origine, pour une période d’un (1) an
à partir de la date d’achat du produit (« Période de garantie »). Ce produit doit avoir

SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS:
La trituradora no funciona.
a) Asegúrese de que la unidad está conectada y de que el tomacorriente funciona
