Check reader and imager
• The 2600 is powered by a 32 bit, 25 MHz processor that
provides fast check imaging and transaction finalization
• Its check and document imager provides comfort in the
knowledge that NSF, administrative returns or disputed
checks have been imaged, stored, and are ready for
retrieval by the merchant, customer, collection agency
or other authorized provider
• The 2600’s MICR reader allows merchants to leverage
existing services for verification or guarantee, while
leveraging the benefits of electronic check conversion
• The optional magnetic stripe reader allows a merchant
to use one device for check verification, guarantee and
conversion, reducing equipment cost while increasing
transaction security and customer checkout throughput
• The 2600 provides an optional fixed function ink jet
printer, for printing limited text messages such as “ACH
Processed” or “Electronically Processed” on the check
face, reducing operator confusion and eliminating the
need to stamp the check or print on an ECR
• Included are multiple connectivity selections to dial
EFT-POS terminals, PC and electronic cash registers
• The 2600 is a versatile device that can be powered by
the host device or an external source
