Installing SIM Card and Memory Card 4. Locate the memory card tray. 5. Use the included pin tool to open the tray. 1. Locate the SIM card tray. 2. Use the included pin to open the tray. 6. Place the memory card on the tray. Slide the tray back into the phone. 3. Place the SIM card on the tray and slide the tray into the phone. Use the pin supplied in the box only to open the card slot.
Charging the Battery Initial Start Up Before using the phone, it is recommended to fully charge the battery first. 1. Connect the smaller end of the USB cable to the USB port of the device. 2. Connect the other end of the cable to the USB charger or other USB port with power source (for example, laptop). The phone’s Power LED lights on. Warning After installing the SIM card and charging the battery, the device is ready to be turned on.
Making Your First Call To answer a call From the Home screen, tap To answer a call, tap ( ). . To make a call and drag it to the right 1. Enter the phone number on the keypad. 2. Tap to correct any number. Tap and hold to erase the entire number. NOTE: To call a contact, tap from the list. 3. Tap to make a call. 4. To end the call, tap . Contacts Importing contacts 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. Tap > Import/ Export, and choose to Import/export contacts from or to the SIM card/storage. 3. Select the contacts location that you want to copy to or copy from, and tap . Adding contacts 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. Tap to add a contact. 3. Select one of the location to store the contact to (SIM-only or Phone-only). 4. Enter the contact information such as name, phone number, email address, etc. 5. Tap to save the contact. . 6 .
Sending a Text Message Setting up WLAN 1. From the Home screen, tap . 2. Tap . 3. In the To field, enter the recipient’s phone number or name. 4. Compose your message. 5. Tap to send your message. 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. In WIRELESS & NETWORKS, tap WLAN and turn it to on. 3. Available networks are listed. Tap a network to connect to or tap to manually add a connection. Setting up Email Account Sending and Receiving Emails 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. Enter your Email address and Password and tap Next. 3. Set the Inbox checking frequency settings and tap Next. 4. Enter Name and Account display name. 5. Tap Next. Once the account setup is complete, the device will automatically retrieve your emails. Composing and sending emails . 1. Receiving emails Using Browser Emails are automatically received in the Inbox folder when the device connects to a network.To manually retrieve new emails, swipe down to refresh or tap > Refresh. To open a web page 1. From the Home screen, tap . 2. Tap the address bar. 3. Type the URL then tap Go. 4. Tap to open New Tab page or add the page to the Bookmarks. 5. Tap the address bar. 6. Using Bluetooth Taking Photos and Videos 1. From the Home screen, tap . 2. In WIRELESS & NETWORKS, tap Bluetooth and turn it to on. 3. Available devices are listed. To search for a new device, tap SEARCH FOR DEVICES. 4. Tap a detected device. 5. To start pairing, enter the PIN then tap OK. NOTE: • The PIN of the device must be the same PIN on the other bluetooth device. • On some devices, tap Pair to start pairing. This device is equipped with rear and front cameras to take photos and videos. 1.
To record video 1. From the Home screen, tap 2. Tap to enter video mode. NOTE: To switch between front and rear cameras, tap . 3. Aim the device at the subject. 4. Tap to stop recording. To take a panorama shot 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. . From the Home screen, tap . Tap and select Panorama. Aim the device at the subject. Tap to take the shot. Move the device slowly toward one direction shown on the screen. 6. When the shooting guide reaches the end of the shooting point, the shooting ends.
Viewing Photos and Videos 4. Swipe your finger to the left/right to view the previous/next file. • To share the image, tap > Share, then tap an application for sharing. • To delete the image, tap , then tap OK. • To play the video, tap . • To upload the file to the cloud storage, and login your tap cloud album. • To play the slideshow, or show more options, tap . • To rate the image, tap . • To edit the image, tap . 1. Changing the Launcher layer mode The result is displayed as follows: 1. From the Home screen, tap . 2. Tap . The Launcher+ page opens. 3. Tap Layer mode setting tab. 4. Choose One layer or Two layers.
